Recycle For Cash is a WA owned and operated family business dedicated to helping homeowners & businesses recycle eligible 10 cent containers. Recycle For Cash provides a direct pickup service and pays you the ten (10) cents refund on all eligible containers collected. Recycle For Cash charges five (5) cents per eligible containers as a fee for this convenient service. We will provide you with our 120-litre commercial grade wheelie bin, complete with fresh bin liners during every pickup.
Collect the refund for yourself, deposit to your kids, grandkids, or donate to the charity of your choice or donate to us knowing your containers will be used again and again through the recycling process. No need to have unsightly bin bags hogging your garage space or making a racket in the back of your car at every turn. We will transport, count, and process your refund without you needing to leave your property!
To use this service, you must register as a participant in the Recycle For Cash online application, currently available on Android or iOS, or via our website www.recycleforcash.com.au. In-person registration is also available with assistance from a Recycle For Cash staff member. All registrations must be received through our online platform(s) to enable payments, less any fees charged by Recycle For Cash.
Once downloaded, open the app, and click on “sign up”. Input your details including pickup location and Australian bank details or advise us where you want the funds to go, read and sign our Terms and Conditions, and we’ll be in touch to drop you a 120L bin with liner within 5 business days of registration. Make sure to check your junk box for our email!
All you need is a device that is able to download our App, and at least 50 eligible containers for us to recycle! You will also need an Australian bank account, or the name of a charity you would prefer the refund to go to – we will do the rest!
Short for space, or just don’t want another bin on your property? No problem! We can accept bags of the eligible cans instead. We will provide you with a new bin bag at every pickup. Please ensure to clearly label your bag with your name and address so we know where to process your refund.

Recycle For Cash will charge a service fee of five (5) cents per eligible container, which will result in a net payment to you of five (5) cents per eligible container returned, as of the latest legislated refund amount.
Recycle For Cash can also process charitable donations for you. All that is required is for you to nominate where you want the funds to be received, and your five (5) cents net refund amount will be on its way to your nominated Australian charity once you request to cash out your account balance. If you require a tax receipt for this donation, the charity must be set up for tax purposes.
Alternatively, participants may select a no payment required option. In this instance, Recycle For Cash charges participants a ten (10) cent service fee per eligible container, which will result in a net payment of zero (0) cents per eligible container returned. Participants may use this option if you just want to ensure your normal recycling bin is free from these eligible containers and you want to feel assured they will be recycling into new containers again and again!
We pass on five (5) cents per eligible container directly to your Australian bank account, Recycle For Cash then will receive a refund for your containers after you request a cash out of your account balance in the “Account” section of the App. This refund is usually processed within a couple business days from us receiving the request.
Absolutely! Recycle for Cash can make payments to any Australian bank account, just update your details within the “Profile” section of the App, or nominate a charity of your choice and we will sort out the details.

Firstly, we would be sad to see you go! However, we understand things can change, as such, to cancel the service log into the App and go to the “contact us” section to let us know. We will then organise to pick up our Recycle for Cash wheelie bin on the next scheduled pick up day.

Nope. You just need to leave the bin or the bags in a secure location on your property that our nominated driver can access. Please do not leave the bags/bin on council property.
Sure thing! You will need to give us the access code or provide the caretakers details to gain access so that our nominated driver can complete the collection.
